Phase 8, Whistles and Hobbs are the three latest brands set to come to Lincolnshire Co-op’s £70m redevelopment of The Cornhill Quarter – expanding Lincoln city centre’s fashion shopping offer.
Phase 8 and Hobbs will be located in the third phase of the development in the building, which will also be home to Everyman Cinema, The Botanist and Pho; all set to open later this year. Whistles will be located opposite in the Corn Exchange building, providing a great experience for Lincoln’s fashionistas.
All of the major brands will be offering the full range of their latest fashion and accessories for women, with each brand offering something different from casual to occasion to work wear.
This latest announcement follows news that Pho, the healthy Vietnamese street food restaurant, is joining the impressive lineup. Work is also progressing well on phase three of the scheme, with both Everyman and The Botanist fitting out.
Tim Bradford, Managing Director at Banks Long & Co, said:
“We have been working hard to create the right mix for The Cornhill Quarter and the signing of these three major brands helps to expand Lincoln’s fashion shopping offer. We have some excellent brands already secured, and with the opening of The Botanist, Everyman, Pho and HMV this year the overall mix ensures something for everyone, day or night time.”
Ursula Lidbetter, Lincolnshire Co-op’s Chief Executive, commented:
“The signings of these three major fashion brands for The Cornhill Quarter sets 2020 off as another great year for the scheme. They will sit alongside other new nationwide brands for Lincoln as well as a host of much-loved local names.”
The Cornhill Quarter is also home to an array of other brands including; Cosy Club, Moss Bros., Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Lakeland, 200 degrees, Neon Sheep, Doughnotts’, Seasalt and énergie Fitness all helping to create a revitalised city centre retail destination.
